Alida's first birthday!

Hi everyone! Here they are, at long last, photos from Alida's first birthday! I hope that they are worth the wait!!!

We love you all so much and wish that we could have been together to celebrate Alida's birthday! We hope that all is well and that you are enjoying a warm, sunny summer! Alida is walking all on her own now and keeping us on our toes. It truly is amazing how much these little ones change in a year! Oh, as a side note, Monday June 30th, is when we celebrate the anniversary of Alida's baptism, please keep her in your prayers! God bless!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wow! I don't know where to begin with all that has been going on this past week, so I'll let the pictures do the talking... We certainly have been enjoying our extra time with Adam during this Christmas break from school and the extra days that he's gotten to have off of work for the holidays! Here Adam and Alida are playing dress up- below is a video of how the process worked... unfortunately the video is sideways, so you may have to turn your head, or the computer screen...enjoy! The Very Hungry Caterpillar is quickly becoming a favorite of Alida's, this girl definitely loves story time! She didn't want to wear her clothes, but Alida had fun wearing her new apron from grandma! This is the new party dress that Alida got from her Great-Aunt Janell and Uncle John. Adam asked me how my blog has been going the other day.... which reminded me that I haven't written or posted pictures in quite some time! Daughter's Day

Today is National Daughter's Day so I thought I'd fill today's post with pictures of our daughter, the one who made us parents, Alida! This beautiful girl is definitely her own person. She's sweet, stubborn, artistic, giving, and incredibly loving. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter! Before braces... And after!
