Spring Forward!

Hello everyone! We hope that daylight savings is treating you as well as it is treating us, Giovanni slept in until 8 am today! Here are some pictures from last month till today, enjoy!
Having fun in her dress from Aunt T! She loves it!

Who's hiding under there?
It's Alida!

Crusin' all over the place!

Having fun with Oma! We were so blessed to have Oma's help for 2 weeks in February!!! We love and miss you so much Oma!!!

Made a bed out of towels

Eating breakfast with Oma!

Still enjoying her dress!

Having fun in a giant roll of paper that came in a package!

Paper Princess Alida!

Getting big, and needing a haircut!

Big boy, only eats big people food now!

Fell asleep during lunch time!

This was as good a smile as I could get from her....

Alida fit as many toys as she could on this chair, I think she did a pretty good job!

They're having a party!

Giovanni loves watching Alida play outside!

This is Giovanni after taking a THREE HOUR nap in his playpen!!!! That NEVER happens! Typically he naps for 30 min at a time, maybe once a day. After checking on him several times to make sure he was still breathing, I was able to get some extra work done around the house and even clean Alida's slide outside!

Yes, that is a dinosaur stuck in Alida's hair, when this girl plays, she really plays!

For Lent we've started praying a decade of the rosary as a family before bedtime...still trying to figure out how this works with toddlers...they mostly like playing with the rosaries in our rosary jar, but hey, I figure, at least their minds are focused in the right place...sort of...

Look at that! Giovanni is sitting up on his own!!! It only took him 13 months, but this kid is finally able to transition from laying down to sitting up, and actually seems to enjoy playing in this position! Yay!!!

He also really likes books!

Our sunny girl in her thomas/dora jammies!

I found these boots at Wal-Mart for $3! They're 4 sizes too big...but hey, she'll grow into them, and seriously $3?! I couldn't even find them for that price at the consignment shops!!!

My little boy, enjoying the sounds of the wind chime and the great outdoors!

This is Alida all dressed and ready for work! It's hard to tell, but she is wearing one of Adam's ties, my jean shorts, and a head band around her neck. She also got a lunch pail all ready for the day!

Our little happy boy!

Adam is all set and ready to officially begin his master's program on April 1st! We're very excited to keep moving and eventually be done with school!!! Giovanni is really starting to talk! He says Dada, baba (for his bottle), baby, mama, buh-bye, Lida (for Alida), up, and most recently Sasha (my mom and dad's dog)! He is just changing before our eyes everyday! Alida has recently gotten into all things princess, and loves signing songs, making up stories, and playing outside (especially jumping in puddles). I am doing MUCH better as of recently. Having Gail over for a couple of weeks was so great, it really got the ball rolling with helping me to recoup and recover! I have recently started a new inhaled antibiotic, which started doing it's job right away, stopping my hemoptysis and seems to be working well still. Keep praying for us!

We love and miss you all! Have a blessed and happy St. Patrick's day!

Love, The Librande Family

Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Veterans Day to all of our family members who have served our country and/or are currently serving our country! Thank you for all that you do/have done to help better our country and the people that live here. Adam had to work today, but my parents, sister, and brother-in-law had the day off, so Alida and I were able to enjoy some time with them this afternoon. Alida woke up with a bit of a stomach bug this morning, but seems to be feeling better, which we are so thankful for! We hope that everyone had a great day! This picture was taken in early October. We have a great apple tree in our backyard that grows 2 different kinds of apples! Alida found this apple on the ground and thought that she'd give it a try... She definitely enjoyed that apple, so I'd say it was a good pick! Alida learned how to climb up on our kitchen chairs in mid-October. I thought that pushing the chairs in under the table would be able to prevent her from climbing on them when ...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wow! I don't know where to begin with all that has been going on this past week, so I'll let the pictures do the talking... We certainly have been enjoying our extra time with Adam during this Christmas break from school and the extra days that he's gotten to have off of work for the holidays! Here Adam and Alida are playing dress up- below is a video of how the process worked... unfortunately the video is sideways, so you may have to turn your head, or the computer screen...enjoy! The Very Hungry Caterpillar is quickly becoming a favorite of Alida's, this girl definitely loves story time! She didn't want to wear her clothes, but Alida had fun wearing her new apron from grandma! This is the new party dress that Alida got from her Great-Aunt Janell and Uncle John. She wore it to our friend's wedding which took place during Mass on the Feast of the Holy Family! And of course, no outfit is complete without movie star sunglasses! Her...
