We had a beautiful sunny fall day here in Oregon! The rain decided to hold off for us so that we could enjoy the crunching of the fall leaves and chasing the birds outside :) we hope that you all have had a great day as well! Alida experimented in a coloring book for the first time, and only attempted to eat one crayon...believe me, that's a pretty big accomplishment for her! Here are some more photos from the summer to catch y'all up to speed on our little growing girl...




Alida is now our big walking girl! She started walking around 13 months, and now we can barely keep up with her! Below is a video of some of her fist big walking days...enjoy!

Grandma was painting a cabinet and Alida was enjoying playing in the cupboard. It was just her size!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wow! I don't know where to begin with all that has been going on this past week, so I'll let the pictures do the talking... We certainly have been enjoying our extra time with Adam during this Christmas break from school and the extra days that he's gotten to have off of work for the holidays! Christmas 2013

Adam asked me how my blog has been going the other day.... which reminded me that I haven't written or posted pictures in quite some time! So here's a look back at Christmas for your viewing pleasure! This is Christmas morning One of Alida's first noisy electronic gifts; thanks grandma and grandpa!  Alida in her new Christmas dress from Oma and Opah! :) One happy little girl! Daughter's Day

 Today is National Daughter's Day so I thought I'd fill today's post with pictures of our daughter, the one who made us parents, Alida! This beautiful girl is definitely her own person. She's sweet, stubborn, artistic, giving, and incredibly loving. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter!  Before braces... And after!
