Trying to fit in a box

Playing in the jumperoo! (my cousin let us borrow this one)

Our first family movie night! We watched 'Elmo in Grouchland'

Why color inside, or outside, when you can color in both at the same time?

So many toys, and yet, the wipes always seem to be the most fun...

Do you see the face? Alida totally drew that! Picasso in the making? Perhaps Michael Angelo?

Adam at the campground! He had to wear this hat the whole time when we were outside because the day before we left he was cutting his hair, and Alida surprised him, causing him to shave a huge section of hair off...so he was basically bald haha and with the sun so hot we didn't want his head to get sunburned, thus the hat!

We went camping in July with my grandparents, parents, and aunt and uncle. We slept in a tent, and although it got down to the low 40's we all stayed warm in the many blankets that we packed! We were able to just enjoy the outdoors, go swimming, play Frisbee golf, watch a magic show, play cards, and Alida really enjoyed digging in the dirt! Adam has more photos on his phone, so I will try to upload those soon. Currently Adam is with the kids at a birthday party for one of my cousins, I have come down with a nasty cold, so Adam has been letting me rest all day! He took both the kids to Mass, went grocery shopping for me, and has now taken them to the birthday party so that I can get a little rest. Yes, he is an amazing husband! My embolization procedure is all set to take place on Friday (Patrick's b-day), so please keep me in your prayers that all goes well! Adam has started his new math course, so please keep him in your prayers as well, he has alot on his plate! Giovanni is doing really well, he has started rolling all over the house! He picks up anything that crosses his path and puts it in his mouth, so I have to keep a really vigilant eye out of anything small or destructible, like books. It is so fun to see him rolling around and making progress! He is really growing up! Alida is her usual cute self. She has really enjoyed taking her baby/elmo/teddy bear for walks in her little pink stroller, so we go on walks just about everyday, usually twice a day :) She has started giving her babies names as well! As of late they were all named Charlotte, but Adam was trying to get her to name one of her babies a different name, so she did. The name she came up with is Boysis. Hahahaha!  Yes, little ones come up with the funniest things sometimes. Hope you all are doing well, you are in are prayers always!

Daughter's Day

Today is National Daughter's Day so I thought I'd fill today's post with pictures of our daughter, the one who made us parents, Alida! This beautiful girl is definitely her own person. She's sweet, stubborn, artistic, giving, and incredibly loving. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter!  Before braces... And after! Alida took this picture of Brumby with her baby Charlotte  We love you Alida!

Spring Forward!

Hello everyone! We hope that daylight savings is treating you as well as it is treating us, Giovanni slept in until 8 am today! Here are some pictures from last month till today, enjoy! Having fun in her dress from Aunt T! She loves it! Who's hiding under there? It's Alida! Crusin' all over the place! Having fun with Oma! We were so blessed to have Oma's help for 2 weeks in February!!! We love and miss you so much Oma!!! Made a bed out of towels Eating breakfast with Oma! Still enjoying her dress! Having fun in a giant roll of paper that came in a package! Paper Princess Alida! Getting big, and needing a haircut! Big boy, only eats big people food now! Fell asleep during lunch time! This was as good a smile as I could get from her.... Alida fit as many toys as she could on this chair, I think she did a pretty good job! They're having a party! Giovanni loves watching ...

Hair Cut and a Story

First off, happy Easter everyone!!! Alleluia!  Yesterday Giovanni got a haircut! Adam was the barber and I was the chair. Gio did a great job and aged about 3 years by the time we were finished. Check it out! Before... After! Before... After! And now for your listening enjoyment, here is a little video of Alida telling the story of Peter Rabbit, pretty much word for word from her story book (with a few mix ups here and there). She was looking at the book while sitting on the potty and I heard her telling the story, like I said, basically word for word, pretty good memory with that one (definitely comes from the Librande side)! I didn't get Alida in the picture, mainly because if she saw me with the camera she would stop telling the story. So put on your listening ears (and two year old speech translator) and enjoy!
