March in Oregon

Here is a few more photos from this month, March! Being silly on the couch... Big boy, starting to climb on everything! As I load the dishes, Giovanni unloads them... St. Patrick's Day green! What a cutie on the couch! I feel like this could be a poster picture for something... Yep, praying the rosary on his knees already! ;) New outfit from Aunt T! (I can't get her to look at the camera and smile :P) Daddy and the kiddos! Alida having fun drawing! Love, The Librande Family

Hair Cut and a Story

First off, happy Easter everyone!!! Alleluia!  Yesterday Giovanni got a haircut! Adam was the barber and I was the chair. Gio did a great job and aged about 3 years by the time we were finished. Check it out! Before... After! Before... After! And now for your listening enjoyment, here is a little video of Alida telling the story of Peter Rabbit, pretty much word for word from her story book (with a few mix ups here and there). She was looking at the book while sitting on the potty and I heard her telling the story, like I said, basically word for word, pretty good memory with that one (definitely comes from the Librande side)! I didn't get Alida in the picture, mainly because if she saw me with the camera she would stop telling the story. So put on your listening ears (and two year old speech translator) and enjoy! Giovanni's Big Day

Yesterday was Giovanni's big day at the hospital! He had to have a sedated MRI done to see if his pituitary gland was abnormal. Gio previously had a quick brain scan MRI done, which took about 3 minutes and did not require sedation, and it was during this MRI that the doctor thought his pitutary gland looked to be on the small side, and so ordered a sedated MRI to get a better look at it. We left our house around 5:30 am and arrived for his appointment at 7 am. Thankfully they put a numbing cream on his hands and feet prior to putting in the IV. Gio was not a happy camper, and fought the nurses tooth and nail, but we had a great nurse who was able to get the big ol' IV in his little foot on the first try! The MRI took about 45 minutes and then we got to watch our sleeping boy wake up and enjoy a bottle after having fasted for more than 12 hours. He was VERY hungry, and ate almost an entire slice of starbucks banana bread all by himself!  We got the call fro...
