Alright, as promised, here are more pictures from this summer! These photos are from July, enjoy!

Having fun outside!

Putting water in the pool!

Our little man LOVES to be outside!

Starting to hold his head up better during tummy time! (Oma and Aunt T were the first to really get him to hold his head up during tummy time, that was just before he turned 5 months!)

Enjoying a book together :)

Our little artist experimenting with paint on paper...

...and on her toenails! (this occurred in the space of time which I left the room to take the garbage out...)

Need I say more?

Sportin' his blue diaper and enjoying being clothes-free in the hot heat of July!

Enjoying time outside!

Alida coloring on her coloring board

Giovanni mastering the art of rolling over...

Success!

The 4th of July!

We all sported our red, white, and blue!

Grandma and Gio on the 4th!
And Grandpa and Gio!

We will be having a busy weekend gearing up for the Oktoberfest! The Oktoberfest is a German festival that happens every year in Mt. Angel, OR, mainly with lots of food, polka, and beer. We go every year to help out with my Grandma's food booth (cinnamon rolls and ice cream!) for the pregnancy center that she volunteers for, Michael the Archangel. Should be lots of fun and good weather! We have a PT appointment scheduled for Giovanni (finally!), but the earliest that they can get him in is Oct. 22, which is a ways away, so we are hoping to get him started with some private PT in the meantime (I'm still waiting to hear back from them...). My sister came down yesterday and we spent the day doing some shopping and running errands with the kids. Aunt Diane and Uncle Carl sent down a gift card to target for Alida's birthday as well as for Giovanni's baby shower. I was finally able to go yesterday, and with some coupons from my sister we made out really well! I was able to get some tennis shoes and slippers for Alida (she has been wanting slippers ever since it started cooling down) as well as a 12 month old outfit for Gio and some new plastic drinking cups for the kids (which we needed!). Thank you Aunt Diane and Uncle Carl!!! Adam is still working hard with teaching school and studying for his algebra test. He is also preparing to do an Elvis impersonation for an old co-worker's anniversary in December, haha, should be fun! We hope that you all are doing well!

Love and prayers, The Librande Family

P.S. Below is a video of Alida signing the ABC's, I think I forgot to push record before she started, but it's still pretty good!

Daughter's Day

Today is National Daughter's Day so I thought I'd fill today's post with pictures of our daughter, the one who made us parents, Alida! This beautiful girl is definitely her own person. She's sweet, stubborn, artistic, giving, and incredibly loving. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter!  Before braces... And after! Alida took this picture of Brumby with her baby Charlotte  We love you Alida!

Spring Forward!

Hello everyone! We hope that daylight savings is treating you as well as it is treating us, Giovanni slept in until 8 am today! Here are some pictures from last month till today, enjoy! Having fun in her dress from Aunt T! She loves it! Who's hiding under there? It's Alida! Crusin' all over the place! Having fun with Oma! We were so blessed to have Oma's help for 2 weeks in February!!! We love and miss you so much Oma!!! Made a bed out of towels Eating breakfast with Oma! Still enjoying her dress! Having fun in a giant roll of paper that came in a package! Paper Princess Alida! Getting big, and needing a haircut! Big boy, only eats big people food now! Fell asleep during lunch time! This was as good a smile as I could get from her.... Alida fit as many toys as she could on this chair, I think she did a pretty good job! They're having a party! Giovanni loves watching ...

Hair Cut and a Story

First off, happy Easter everyone!!! Alleluia!  Yesterday Giovanni got a haircut! Adam was the barber and I was the chair. Gio did a great job and aged about 3 years by the time we were finished. Check it out! Before... After! Before... After! And now for your listening enjoyment, here is a little video of Alida telling the story of Peter Rabbit, pretty much word for word from her story book (with a few mix ups here and there). She was looking at the book while sitting on the potty and I heard her telling the story, like I said, basically word for word, pretty good memory with that one (definitely comes from the Librande side)! I didn't get Alida in the picture, mainly because if she saw me with the camera she would stop telling the story. So put on your listening ears (and two year old speech translator) and enjoy!
