Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Veterans Day to all of our family members who have served our country and/or are currently serving our country! Thank you for all that you do/have done to help better our country and the people that live here. Adam had to work today, but my parents, sister, and brother-in-law had the day off, so Alida and I were able to enjoy some time with them this afternoon. Alida woke up with a bit of a stomach bug this morning, but seems to be feeling better, which we are so thankful for! We hope that everyone had a great day!
This picture was taken in early October. We have a great apple tree in our backyard that grows 2 different kinds of apples! Alida found this apple on the ground and thought that she'd give it a try...

She definitely enjoyed that apple, so I'd say it was a good pick!

Alida learned how to climb up on our kitchen chairs in mid-October. I thought that pushing the chairs in under the table would be able to prevent her from climbing on them when I wasn't looking...well, she figured out that she could still climb up on them, even if she was a little squished!

So, this is Alida's first real experience with the training potty....Maria, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this isn't how the whole potty training process works....

Don't worry, she hadn't actually used the potty yet, so this isn't as gross as it could be...and I suppose it's good to see that she at least isn't scared of the potty, right? :)

Whew! This brings us all up to date with the many photos that I had stored on my camera! So now the pictures that you'll be seeing will be current (and there won't be quite as many posted each time as there has been).

God bless!

Love, The Librande Family

Wow! I don't know where to begin with all that has been going on this past week, so I'll let the pictures do the talking... We certainly have been enjoying our extra time with Adam during this Christmas break from school and the extra days that he's gotten to have off of work for the holidays! Here Adam and Alida are playing dress up- below is a video of how the process worked... unfortunately the video is sideways, so you may have to turn your head, or the computer screen...enjoy! The Very Hungry Caterpillar is quickly becoming a favorite of Alida's, this girl definitely loves story time! She didn't want to wear her clothes, but Alida had fun wearing her new apron from grandma! This is the new party dress that Alida got from her Great-Aunt Janell and Uncle John. She wore it to our friend's wedding which took place during Mass on the Feast of the Holy Family! And of course, no outfit is complete without movie star sunglasses! Her...
