Laundry Basket Fun

Hi everyone! Hope that all is well :) I'm sure that everyone is busy preparing for the holiday, or maybe even relaxing with some extra time off! I had a CF appointment today, and it looks like my lung function is lower than normal, so I'll be going in Friday for some IV antibiotics. Luckily, the ones that they will be putting me on don't require a picc line, but rather a mid-line, which is like a picc, but only half the length or so, so it should hopefully be easier to place! We're going to try a new antibiotic which seems to have some effect on MRSA, and is only a category B drug in regards to pregnancy, which is basically the safest category that they can classify a drug in, so I am definitely happy about that as well! Like I said, I will be going in on Friday and staying till Tuesday (as long as everything goes as planned), so please keep Adam and Alida in your prayers, as they will be on their own for about 5 days!!!

Alida really enjoys helping me with the laundry, whether it's taking the clothes out of the dryer, helping me move the laundry basket around, or helping me put clothes into the dryer, she is definitely my helper-bee! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wow! I don't know where to begin with all that has been going on this past week, so I'll let the pictures do the talking... We certainly have been enjoying our extra time with Adam during this Christmas break from school and the extra days that he's gotten to have off of work for the holidays! Christmas 2013

Adam asked me how my blog has been going the other day.... which reminded me that I haven't written or posted pictures in quite some time! So here's a look back at Christmas for your viewing pleasure! Daughter's Day

 Today is National Daughter's Day so I thought I'd fill today's post with pictures of our daughter, the one who made us parents, Alida! This beautiful girl is definitely her own person. She's sweet, stubborn, artistic, giving, and incredibly loving. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter!  Before braces... And after!
